Dissabte em va ser impossible assistir al lliurament de premis del II Concurs BLOGDOCAT al millor blog vitivinícola català. És un certamen organitzat per la Denominació d’origen Catalunya en el que ja varem participar fa dos anys, obtenint una menció especial. En aquesta ocasió també hem obtingut una menció del jurat. Gràcies per aquest reconeixement. La tasca del blog de EL VI A PUNT és un SEGUIMENT DE LA PROPOSTA PER AL FOMENT DE L’ÚS QUOTIDIÀ DEL VI, tal com s’indica en el subtítol del web. PERQUÈ EL VI SIGUI A LA TAULA CADA DIA cal que les diverses cares del vi ens siguin properes, que el vi tingui un espai en la nostra quotidianitat, que formi part de la nostra vida real, que depassi l’excepcionalitat (incloent-la també).
M’hauria agradat ser a la festa del 10è aniversari de la D.O. Catalunya però un amic que resideix a Brusseles es casava a la mateixa hora a Rasquera amb una noia d’Estònia. El vi va ser protagonista d’aquesta festa privada de la Ribera d’Ebre, per cert.
El blog guanyador, el del Jaume Aguadé, Vins de Catalunya, és molt bo. Vaig deixar-hi anotat ahir que jo també l’hauria votat. La setmana passada, un cop publicada la llista dels blogs finalistes, l’ansietat del concursant em va empènyer a tafanejar per entre les pàgines dels meus “contrincants”, i vaig enamorar-me de l’estil literari del blog del Jaume. repeteixo aquí les meves felicitacions.

Tom,I agree with you. Let him and his staff and our Representatives take a pay cut. Instead they have all had raises this past year. Our Reps automatically get them each year, and Obama gave his staff a raise as well this year. All this man and Congress knows how to do is spend.
