a Can Ràfols

L’Anna Baqués ens va contactar per xerrar, de coses d’interès comú. Va ser la setmana passada. Vam quedar a Can Ràfols a Avinyonet. De fet, la visita a aquest celler estava pendent; per moltes raons, totes vàlides. Aquesta masia forma part d’un passat penedesenc que encara té vincles amb el present: el Carlos Esteva fa 30 anys que malda per fer-ho real.

Em va agradar retrobar-me amb aquest paisatge senzill, en el que les masies organitzaven el territori. És el cas de Can Ràfols dels Caus, en què les edificacions històriques conserven el protagonisme. Darrere, i mig amagat sota terra, excavat a aquesta roca que ens informa geològicament sobre el Garraf, hi ha el celler modern. La petjada més innovadora de la marca. Ens hi vam passsejar, per tastar els vins a peu de tina.

Havent discutit de tot allò que ens “amoïnava”, l’Anna, companya d’estudis del Carles Figueras (l’enòleg del Camí de la Font i del Clot de les Eres), em va convidar a conèixer un vi blanc de criança dels que a Can Ràfols són marca de la casa. El Rocallís és un Incroccio Manzoni que es va collir el 2005 i del qual se n’embotellaren 1989 ampolles. Com La Calma (que vaig tastar amb l’Anna i el Carles, precisament, l’estiu passat al Món Vínic), i com el Pairal (que vaig tastar fa quinze dies al ViJazz de Vilafranca), El Rocallís envelleix bé, complex, suggerent…
